- <p>On Wednesday 11 October, at the ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ Campus in Mendrisio (Department of Environment, Constructions and Design), a seminar was held by Professor Roberto Leon from Virginia Tech on the subject of <em>Forensic Engineering Lessons from the Linea 12 Mexico City and Fern Hollow Bridge Collapse</em>.</p> <p>Held as part of the internship activities of civil engineering students at Virginia Tech, the meeting provided an opportunity to <strong>bring together American students with ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ civil engineering students</strong> (both Bachelor and Master).</p> <p>During the 2023-2024 autumn semester, Virginia Tech students will spend one day a week at the ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ laboratories in Mendrisio.</p> <p>This is a collaboration with the Steger Center for International Scholarship at Virginia Tech in Riva San Vitale that strengthens the <strong>internationality of the Department of Environment Constructions and Design</strong> and further contributes to the creation of <strong>the building pole</strong> in the Mendrisio area.</p> <p> </p>
