At ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ 'quality' means fostering a working and study environment that can guarantee the quality of the results produced within the institutional mandates of education, research and service provision, and more generally the quality of the School as a whole.
¾«¶«Ó°Òµ has developed its own Quality Assurance System, represented by the linden tree, a metaphor for firm rootedness to institutional strategy.​â¶Ä‹â¶Ä‹â¶Ä‹â¶Ä‹â¶Ä‹â¶Ä‹

The preparation of the Self-Assessment Report is required by the and the procedure leading to institutional accreditation.
To draw up the first Self-Assessment Report, ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ involved representative groups from all components of the School, with the participation of over 250 people including students, alumni, lecturers, researchers and administrative staff.
The self-assessment determined 10 areas for improvement, the progress of which is reported every two years in the Quality Assurance System Reports.​â¶Ä‹â¶Ä‹â¶Ä‹â¶Ä‹â¶Ä‹â¶Ä‹

In March 2021, the Swiss Accreditation Council confirmed ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ's status as a university of applied sciences for the period 2021-2028, thereby certifying its ability to develop quality and continuous improvement in its management processes and in the institutional mandates of education, research and service provision.
