The third edition of the VECOF 2023 national report, the national survey on the attainment of basic skills among pupils in compulsory education, is now available online. The aim of the survey is to assess whether national educational objectives have been achieved in the individual cantons.
EDUCO: The Digital Education Project
At the end of the school year, EDUCO, the digital education project promoted by the municipality of Collina d'Oro, which over two years involved 341 pupils of the municipal school (64 from the pre-school and 277 from the primary school), comes to an end. The teaching staff were accompanied by experts from the Dipartimento formazione e apprendimento / Alta scuola pedagogica (DFA/ASP) to run workshops on new languages and digital technologies. The project was carried out in cooperation with the Centre for Educational and Digital Resources (CERDD) of the Department of Education, Culture and Sport.
Educating for citizenship and democracy
Educational simulations designed to develop and encourage critical thinking, argumentative dialogue and decentralisation. This is the core of the ‘Toolkit for Educating to a Dynamic Citizenship’ (TEDYC) project, a resource that aims to bring young people closer to citizenship and democracy education.
