is in the starting blocks! The 2025 edition promises to be packed with workshops, interactive exhibitions, conferences, events and even a planetarium. A varied programme covering a range of topics, from artificial intelligence and robotics to environmental sustainability, energy and the relationship between humans and nature.
There are also many opportunities for discovery and learning offered by the of the of ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ, starting with the Laboratory dedicated to artificial intelligence and robotics, which will kick off the event on Monday 10 March. Middle school students will learn how to train the Thymio robot to recognise patterns and make decisions.
The programme continues with the laboratory ‘The (b)dark room - a MINT journey to discover the origins of photography’, aimed at both middle and elementary school students. Travelling back in time, we will start from the characteristics of today's digital photography and go back to its origins, through a journey through history to understand the images around us and to understand the properties of light.
Among the themes of this year's event is the relationship between man and nature, which will be explored in depth through various workshops dedicated to biodiversity, with activities also taking place outdoors. With the workshop ‘Schoolmaps - maps at school to discover the environment around us’ it will be possible to discover and plan hiking trails, measuring distances and surfaces. ‘On the trail of animals... with a little technology’ will instead lead participants to discover who the horns, feathers, meat and nests belong to, while the workshop ‘Secrets of the lake’ will take students of all school levels on a journey through nature and technology to discover the invisible life of the lake, through the collection of essential microorganisms that will then be analysed under a microscope.
