The Department of Education and Learning / University of Teacher Education offers Bachelor's, Master's and Diploma courses that enable the development of advanced skills for the teaching profession in pre-school, primary school, middle school, high school and in the school education of pupils with Special Educational Needs (BSEN).

Bachelor

The DFA/ASP Bachelor's degrees train future pre-school and primary school teachers. The Bachelor's degree course lasts three years full-time and offers 180 ECTS credits.

Master

The DFA/ASP Master's degree courses train future secondary school teachers in educational and school planning for pupils with special educational needs. Master's degree courses last between two and four years on a part-time basis and provide between 90 and 120 ECTS credits.

Diploma

The DFA/ASP Diploma trains future teachers for high schools. The Diploma degree course lasts one year and provides 60 ECTS credits.

The assessed the Master's Degree in Secondary Education (in 2017), the Bachelor's Degree in Pre-Primary Education, the Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education (both in 2019) and the Upper Secondary Education (2022) as being of good overall quality.

The institutional thesis archive collects and makes freely available online all theses written in the basic training courses.
