Continuing Education
The Institute's commitment to continuing education takes the form of around twenty courses each year, totalling 400-600 lecture hours and bringing an average of 500 participants and almost 6000 participant-hours.

The considerable development that Continuing Education activities have undergone over the years, and the consequent high number of courses, as well as the size of the Institute of Materials and Constructions in terms of dedicated human resources, have required that the training offer also be structured and directed towards long-term courses such as Advanced Study Courses (Certificate, Diploma and Master's) that cover the Institute's core activities.

Courses have been proposed or are being implemented such as:
  • Building restoration techniques
  • Concrete Design
  • Intervention techniques in the restoration of wall paintings
  • Rehabilitation, reinforcement and maintenance of structures
  • Property valuation
  • Fire prevention
