Costs for continuing education courses are tax deductible if proven. For direct federal tax purposes, the maximum annual deductible amount is CHF 12鈥�000, and for Ticino cantonal tax purposes CHF 10鈥�000.

For more information see the Federal Law on Federal Direct Tax (Art. 9 and Art. 33).

 

Persons interested in a Continuing Education course who do not have sufficient financial assets, if they meet the requirements, may apply for a study loan that must be repaid at the end of the course followed under certain conditions laid down in Article 18 of the Study Aid Act.
