The Energy transition team, part of the Energy systems sector, aims tofocuses on trace analysing the fundamental changes occurring in the energy system due to technological, economic, social, and environmental drivers.
The team's mission is to evaluate the dynamics of the energy system and identify trends and patterns, considering primary energy sources, energy carriers, stakeholders, energy policies, and regulatory measures.

- Development of a framework that encompasses and connects all key stakeholders in the energy sector.

- Simulation of scenarios that test the effectiveness of policies in the dynamic and complex process of energy system transition, within the context of achieving the goals set by the Swiss Energy Strategy 2050.
