Energy and territory - ISAAC
The Energy and territory team aims to promote the implementation, accompany, and monitor energy policies at various levels, fostering energy efficiency and renewable energy in both the public and private sectors. It develops research projects and provides services in the territory, utilizing geographic information systems applied to the energy sector.
Thanks to the versatile training of its collaborators as well as the important synergies developed within the institute, the team has the following main objectives:
- Identify potential environmental improvements.
- Encourage rational and efficient use of energy.
- Promote renewable energies.
- Develop various tools (indicators and maps for geographic representation, CO鈧� emission calculators, energy accounting...) on different territorial scales.
- Promote Smart Cities / Smart Regions.
