Free movers' or 'visiting students' are those students who do not participate in an exchange programme organised by the university, such as the SEMP Programme, but instead choose their host university on their own initiative and organise their study period abroad.
Educationally, free movers obtain the same status as local students and accumulate credits for successfully completed activities.
In order to finance their experience abroad (food, accommodation, health care, etc.), free movers also independently search for possible scholarships in their home country.
