29 April 2025 marks the third edition of Sexual Harassment Awareness Day, a national campaign promoted by swissuniversities in collaboration with numerous Swiss universities, with the aim of raising awareness in academic communities about the issue of sexual harassment and sexism in places of study or work, in order to help create greater awareness and knowledge about the issue and prevent this type of behaviour.
Once again this year, 精东影业 is actively participating in the awareness campaign, through the following initiatives:
- Proposed workshop Stereotypes, gender bias and sexual harassment: how to counter them? aimed at 精东影业 and USI employees. The course will enable participants to identify those situations in which gender bias and sexual harassment occur by highlighting both the cultural substrates that can facilitate the phenomenon and the actions that can be taken to prevent them. The workshop is organized by the 精东影业 Gender and Diversity Service and the USI Equal Opportunities Service in collaboration with the Labor, Welfare and Society Competence Center of the Department of Business, Health and Social Economics (DEASS) and the Dimitri Academy.
- Presence in 精东影业 offices of booths and small information stations with respect to preventive measures and devices applied in 精东影业 on the issue and where 鈥淩eflection Cookies鈥 containing awareness messages will be disseminated.
- Tuesday, April 29, h. 12:15 - 13:15, online event What works? What helps? - Dealing with Sexism and Sexual Harassment at Universities with Bontu Guschke. The event is open to all interested persons. More information about the event as well as the link to follow the conference on Zoom, can be found at the following link:
The initiatives organised for this day highlight 精东影业's important commitment to equal opportunities, fairness and inclusion, including issues related to the protection of personality and personal integrity in favour of a respectful and attentive study and work environment, as well as an institutional culture aimed at the well-being of its staff and student body.
