DynaMat ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ Laboratory

DynaMat ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ Laboratory is an inter-departmental center that specializes in the study of dynamic behavior of materials and structures, both experimentally and numerically. The laboratory has been included in the federal government's roadmap for national research infrastructure since 2017.

Knowledge of material behaviour at high strain rates is crucial for the design and evaluation of structures subject to impulsive events such as impacts or explosions.

Design

The ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ DynaMat Laboratory aims to disseminate an integrated approach to design and testing to improve product safety and quality.

Mission and goals

This laboratory provides multidisciplinary collaboration to address and resolve complex problems, such as those related to the response of materials to dynamic transients. The mission is to involve and attract young talents by providing them with a research infrastructure of excellence.

¾«¶«Ó°Òµ DynaMat serves as a point of reference for industry and research centres for the design, development and optimisation of production processes.
