Focuses on enabling the reuse of clinical data for research, clinical decision support and precision health in general, while protecting the privacy of patient data. Efforts are based on the application of artificial intelligence, natural language processing (NLP), machine learning, standard terminologies and ontologies for innovative, effective and efficient reuse of unstructured and deep phenotyping clinical data.
Ubiquitous Health
Develops mobile health and telemedicine systems focused on data collection and analysis to aid diagnosis and treatment of diseases, particularly neurodegenerative diseases. It also focuses on designing systems to improve data management, optimize processes, and enhance care pathways within healthcare facilities.
