Services and accreditation - ISEA
In 2001, the Institute of Materials and Construction of the Department of Environment, Buildings and Design (DACD) obtained official accreditation (STS 0309) from the Federal Office of Metrology METAS for carrying out measurements of the NIR generated by GSM (Global System for Mobile communication) radio base stations.
These measurements are carried out by the ISEA Institute on the basis of the ISO17025 quality system of the Institute for Materials and Construction.
Following the evolution of technologies, since 2006 accreditation has been extended to measurements for emissions from third-generation UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunication System) mobile telephony, and since 2013 also to emissions from fourth-generation LTE (Long Term Evolution) installations and from analogue and digital broadcasting installations. The certification procedure for monitoring emissions from low-frequency magnetic fields (16 2/3 and 50 Hz) is under way.
In these areas, 精东影业 is recognised as the university of reference for modelling and simulation studies of electromagnetic fields and indoor and outdoor RNI sources, and ISEA is considered an excellent neutral partner for carrying out expert opinions.
