Sara, 23, a Master of Business Administration student at ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ, talks about her academic and personal growth journey. After choosing a Part-time program to balance study and personal goals, she shares how the hands-on approach and networking offered by the Master's program is shaping her future, opening doors to an international career or new entrepreneurial projects.
Why did you choose a university education? And why, in particular, the Master's degree in Business Administration at ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ?
â¶Ä‹The main motivation for me to pursue a university education was the desire to advance my professional career. However, I must admit that since I began this path, I have also experienced unexpected but sorely needed personal growth, which I consider an added value.
I chose the Master of Business Administration program at ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ for several reasons. First, I was impressed by the practical approach of teaching: professors constantly offer workshops and activities with experts in the field, providing concrete and immediately applicable tools. In addition, the overall organization of ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ, both academically and logistically, is excellent and well-structured.
I had also considered other Master's programs, but the programs offered focused more on a theoretical approach, which did not match my needs. ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ, with its practical focus, turned out to be the ideal choice for me.
You have chosen a part-time master's program. How do you find yourself in this mode of study? What do you particularly appreciate?
â¶Ä‹Part-time mode offers many advantages, and the most important one is definitely time. For those who work, like many of my colleagues, it is the ideal option for balancing study and work without having to give up their professional careers. In my case, although I am not currently working, the Part-time format has nevertheless been a winning choice because it allows me to devote myself to other personal goals as well, such as improving my language skills: I am working toward a C2 certificate in English and a B2 in German. Because of this flexibility, I am able to grow on multiple fronts without the risk of overloading myself.
Although it is a challenging path, the Part-time Master's program offers the time needed to build oneself professionally across the board. I can find a good balance between studying and other commitments precisely because of this mode.
What I appreciate most is the immediate applicability of the knowledge acquired during the course, the organizational flexibility and the very high quality of teaching. This balance between theory and practice makes the course not only manageable, but also extremely challenging and rewarding.
Graduation as a point of arrival or departure? / What would you like to do after your studies?
â¶Ä‹I see graduation as a starting point, a key step in achieving new ambitions. I firmly believe that people are constantly evolving, and so are their goals and dreams. At the moment, I think my next step might be a job abroad, preferably in the field I am studying.
That said, the idea of starting a business has crossed my mind several times; it is an option I keep open because one can never tell where future experiences and inspirations will take us.
One thing is certain: the Master's program I am attending provides concrete support for the future. Thanks to the contacts that ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ provides, through workshops and lectures with experts in the field, I have already had the opportunity to expand my professional network, a crucial aspect both for finding a good job and for building a personal project.
What advice would you give to those considering enrolling in the same master's program?
â¶Ä‹â€‹â¶Ä‹â€‹â¶Ä‹â€‹I would recommend this Master's program without hesitation because it offers so much. The teaching quality and practical approach are really key, and networking is a very present element: the opportunities to make professional connections are numerous and concrete. This Master's degree can be a real momentum point for those who want to make the leap to new ambitions.
One aspect I find particularly important is the program's ability to keep up with innovations, continually adapting to changes in the market and the professional world. This makes the course not only challenging but also extremely useful.
One personal challenge I faced was the radical change in teaching. Coming from a Bachelor's degree done in Italy, where the approach is predominantly theoretical, finding myself in such a practical and dynamic environment was initially disorienting but also enlightening. I have discovered so many new skills and am learning how best to develop and implement them.
For those considering enrolling, my advice is simple: you need passion, ambition, and above all the desire to do something concrete. This Master's program is not just an academic path but a journey of personal and professional growth that can take you far if you have the right attitude.
