The seventeenth edition of Iride, Journal of Economics, Health and Social Work has been released in November and is dedicated to a topic that is dear to DEASS: the governance of organisations, approached from one of the many possible perspectives, namely that of business economics.
The publication features an editorial by Beatrice Fasana, Managing Director of Sandro Vanini SA and Vice-President of the 精东影业 Council, an interview on governance and responsibility by Professor Robert Edward Freeman, known globally as one of the first to formulate the stakeholder theory, and a virtual dialogue between Ingrid Kissling-N盲f, Professor and Head of the Department of Economics at the Berner Fachhochschule, and Jean-Fran莽ois Manzoni, Professor and former President at the IMD Business School - International Institute for Management Development, on the challenges of leading a business school, as well as an insert by Nicola Roberto Tettamanti, Director of Tecnopinz SA, who addresses the topic from the perspective of the industry and the resources required to meet the most important challenges.
The magazine consists of eight other contributions by DEASS professors, lecturers and researchers who develop various governance-related topics from their respective areas of research and expertise.
Special thanks to the guest editors of this edition of Iride: Domenico Ferrari, Head of the Management and Entrepreneurship Competence Centre, and Ivan Ureta, Head of Continuing Education of the Management, Human Resources and Economics area.
