Every year, more than 47,000 cancer cases are diagnosed in Switzerland. Thanks to advances in early detection and treatments, survival is increasing, but returning to work after illness remains a challenge.
The REWORK study, conducted by the Competence Centre for Healthcare Practices and Policies (CPPS) of ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ between 2022 and 2024 – with the financial support of the "Anna dai capelli corti" group and the Oncology Institute of Southern Switzerland (IOSI) – explored the path of women returning to work after breast cancer through approaches that combine quantitative and qualitative data.
The discussion will take place on Tuesday 15th April at the Stabile Piazzetta, from 1.30 to 4.30 pm, with refreshments to follow.
