Remedy is a digital service that helps people with chronic and acute illnesses to improve the daily management of their treatment, with an assistant that offers a point of dialogue and information for the user, combined with a clear and simple management system, that goes beyond the normal leaflets, thus increasing the patient鈥檚 confidence and awareness.
Over the past 20 years, the number of people using drugs has grown exponentially. This growth causes management problems not only for health services that face a constant increase in work but also and especially for patients themselves, who risk feeling increasingly neglected and unaware of illness. In response to this problem, Remedy was born, a service to support people suffering from chronic and/or acute illnesses, offering them tools that can empower them in conscious and responsible self-management of their medical care.
Remedy has as its main engine a digital assistant using artificial intelligence that can provide proactive suggestions regarding both medication management and useful prevention information. The medication management process with Remedy becomes simple using the camera of any mobile device through which one can instantly register and add the correct medication to one's profile. Remedy also allows users to create a personal circle of profiles in which they can share their medications and keep track of them collaboratively. This feature proves essential for users who need assistance in taking medications, such as parent-child.
