"Organizations are constantly looking for tools, levers, behaviors and skills to innovate while maintaining their distinctive values and knowledge. This book provides organizational and behavioral guidelines to help companies evolve toward adaptive entities capable of building a flexible, resilient and sustainable operating model over the long term," so comments Michela Manini, Senior Lecturer in Continuing Education at the Department of Innovative Technologies and co-author of the book with Massimo Mistretta and Stefano Serra.
The book explores the O.A.S.I.S (Objective, Audience insight, Strategy, Implementation, and Scoring) framework, which companies should adopt to promote adaptivity and develop emerging competencies in people. This model suggests a future vision in which organizations can be adaptive and responsive, while maintaining a healthy internal balance, and serves as a benchmark for generating responsible, positive and lasting impact on the market and the environment.
The text proposes a path of observation and training based on three main directions: Technology, Mindset and Behavior.
Within the O.A.S.I.S framework, technology plays a key role in triggering and permeating each stage of the cultural and behavioral evolution process. This requires the adoption of an approach oriented toward collaboration and openness to change, and it results in the systemic development of a mindset focused on continuous learning, adaptability and experimentation.
Besides providing guidelines, the book also presents practical examples from companies of all sizes that have already tried the method successfully and can be an inspiration for its immediate application.
