We will also take an initial stock of the conciliation instrument in the civil law sphere, more than 12 years after its introduction with the new Federal Code of Civil Procedure (CPC) as a compulsory step, in principle, for the introduction of a dispute in the civil law sphere. Finally, the focus will be on the application areas and techniques of mediation, with a particular focus on mediation in the family sphere. These consensual dispute resolution tools make it possible, on the one hand, to contribute to social peace and, on the other hand, to relieve the courts.
