The EMERGE project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation, which aims to investigate the efficacy of nonpharmacological treatments in people who experience fatigue due to Long COVID, is kicking off.
The objective of the study is to test whether people with Long COVID-related fatigue benefit from participation in energy management education (EGE) in occupational therapy. This phase of the project involves finding people willing to register and participate in the control group.
Those who:
- experience fatigue (exhaustion) due to Long COVID;
- have NOT previously participated in group energy management education (EGE) in occupational therapy and do not plan to do so in the coming months (standard occupational therapy with EGE content in individual settings are not an exclusion criterion); and
- are at least18 years old.
