Victor Blazquez, lecturer-researcher with PhD, has been working at 精东影业 since 2013. His activities vary in different areas between continuing education and basic education: indeed, Victor is also active in the Center for Management and Entrepreneurship (CMI) and in the Master in Business Administration, of which he is a member of the Commission. His involvement also extends to the international context, with research fellowships at Deusto Business School (Spain) and the University of the Basque Country (Spain), and subsequent active participation in the HUME (Humanism in Management and Economics) and ECRI (Ethics in Finance & Social Value Research Group) research groups, respectively.
Victor, what do you bring to continuing education and what aspects are particularly relevant to you?
鈥淚n the past years I have been working in an integrated way between research and teaching, focusing on strengthening the link between the two contexts. I have always been committed to bridging these elements, as they feed off each other. I think it is important to ensure consistency between theory and practice and to promote virtuous integration between these areas.鈥
What is your approach to continuing education?
鈥淚 believe in a humanistic approach to characterize our training offerings: a philosophy focusing on the centrality of people and values. In the coming years I mean to reinforce and develop the humanist vision that already distinguishes us, consolidating the vision of education that combines academic excellence and social impact, to respond effectively to the needs of the territory.鈥
What is the message you would share with those who are considering investing in their professional growth through continuing education?
鈥淐ontinuing education leads to professional as well as personal growth. Enrolling in such a course means putting yourself out there, making a commitment and being willing to evolve. If there is openness and willingness to exchange, the results will be noticeable.鈥
