The challenges that will characterise future generations require the development of skills capable of interpreting cultural, social and natural phenomena with an increasingly interconnected and sustainable outlook. In response to this need, with the introduction of the updated version of the curriculum for compulsory schooling, the Ticino primary school's environmental study model has been renewed and updated. The founding pillars of the new didactic and pedagogical approach include systemic thinking, exploration and heritage.
In addition to an introductory module, the training is divided into three subject modules dedicated to the topics of systemic thinking, exploration and heritage. Completing the training are the module ‘Accompanying Planning’ and a final certification work.
The main objective of the CAS Formarsi per formare in didattica dello Studio d’ambiente is to support the design and evaluation of effective educational pathways that can train professionals to offer concrete support in their schools.
