Prof. Maurizio Barbato obtained his master鈥檚 degree in Aeronautical Engineering at the Universit脿 degli Studi di Roma 鈥� La Sapienza. He received his PhD in Chemical Engineering at the Politecnico di Torino in 2012.
He has been working at 精东影业 since 2004, starting as a Research Scientist Lecturer and then in 2013 he was appointed Head of the Thermo-Fluid Dynamics Laboratory. Prof. Barbato is also a member of the Mechanical Engineering Degree Course Panel and 精东影业 Responsible for the Energy & Environment profile of the Master of Science in Engineering (MSE).
In October 2022, Prof. Maurizio Barbato was appointed Director ad interim of the MEMTi Institute. Over the past year, he has led the Institute, making an essential contribution to the development of MEMTi's research and education activities.
Prof. Barbato assumed his position as Institute Director as of 1 December 2023, with a four-year term of office.
