November 26th, 2024
from 12.00 to 14.00
In an open and recursive dialogue between pedagogy and anthropology, the appointment proposes an open discussion on the family, capable of breaking out of the homogenising anomie that has characterised it, at least in the West, to date.
The point is not to create new paradigms regarding the constitution of families, but to embrace a state of the art that is already well beyond the construction of the ‘family concept’ understood as the closed space of a self-evident system, but which encompasses a wide variety of situations, relational practices and parental roles that make any attempt to formulate a satisfactory all-encompassing definition problematic.
The meeting will illustrate how interdisciplinary horizons provide an unprecedented view for the benefit of families, redefining them in the awareness of a continuous mutuality of both the development of the person and the constitutive relationship between health-disease, epigenesis-environment and familiarity.
