November 18th, 2024
from 10:00 to 12:00
During the first part, the main aspects of the revision of the Code of Civil Procedure (CCP) will be addressed, aiming to provide better access to justice and thus strengthen the application of private law. The main innovations to be discussed during the meeting include the elimination of financial obstacles, the strengthening of the conciliation procedure, and the simplification of the coordination of procedures.
Additionally, specific aspects of the codification of the Federal Court鈥檚 case law will be individually addressed, aimed at promoting legal certainty and security. In the second part of the webinar, future perspectives on the enhancement of collective legal protection in cases of mass or widespread damages will be analyzed. Unlike the rest of the revision, which will come into force on January 1, 2025, this collective legal protection has sparked multiple controversies during the consultation and has been decided to be dealt with separately.
