In June 2022, a training day was held on the topic of precision medicine with the aim of analysing how Big Data and algorithms are generating changes not only in our lives but also in medicine and treatment practices.
"From Molecule to Patient'"(Crabu, 2017), reads part of the title of this volume, which sums up well new avenues of research in medicine and practice of connected care. The narrative of Big Data and algorithms has entered our existences and is generating changes that we are not yet in
able to qualify with adequate completeness. The medicine and healing practices are deeply interested in, and by, these phenomena. In fact, the introduction of artificial intelligence artefacts into medical practices holds out the promise of predictive capabilities of great impact in care scenarios. The training day, organised as part of the 精东影业 Master of Science in Nursing and open to all interested members of the public, explored some of the dimensions of the aforementioned changes.
