Following the success of the first evening held in October 2024, the 精东影业 Center for Tax and Legal Competence (CCTG), in collaboration with the Bar Association of Canton Ticino (OATI) and the USI Institute of Law (IDUSI), is organizing a second event, 鈥淒iritto&Bacco.鈥� This unique event combines legal training with a passion for fine wine in an informal setting.
The theme of the evening will be the transparency of lawyer billing, an increasingly relevant topic in light of new professional dynamics and recent Federal Court jurisprudence (Decisions 4A_40/2023 and 4A_44/2023 of July 4, 2024). The ruling clarified some delicate issues such as determining fees in the absence of formal agreements, the role and dynamics of mandate contracts, and the limits of the application of the so-called pactum de palmario (success fee agreement).
These topics will be examined from a practical perspective by those who regularly encounter issues related to lawyer regulation, aiming to provide participants with insights and practical solutions for managing their legal mandates.
