Leidy Guante Henriquez is currently working on her Executive Doctorate at ISAAC (Department of environment constructions and design ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ), in collaboration with the Milan Polytechnic.
At the FTAL Conference 2024, she presented the first results of her research project on the evaluation of circularity strategies in the context of sustainable construction.
Promoted by the FTAL-Fachkonferenz Technik, Architektur und Life Sciences (Association of Swiss Schools of Engineering, Architecture and Life Sciences ), the event is a valuable opportunity to foster dialogue and encounters between researchers, students and professionals from various disciplines.
The scientific article From Reviews of Sustainable Building Rating Systems and Circular Indicators for the Built Environment to a Practical Tool Supporting the Design of Sustainable Circular Buildings (forthcoming) presents the prerequisites for integrating circularity principles into the building design process and, on this basis, defining the framework conditions for the future development of a ‘meta-protocol’ to support the planning of efficient and sustainable buildings incorporating circular economy principles.
