The Open Day is always a special opportunity to explore university life up close. On Friday 28 February 2025, ¾«¶«Ó°Òµâ€™s Department of environment constructions and design opened its doors to 343 participants who were able to meet lecturers, students, graduates and undergraduates of the various degree courses: from the Bachelor of Arts in Conservation to the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, from the Bachelor of Arts in Interior Architecture to the Bachelor of Arts in Architecture, from the Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication to the Master of Arts in Interaction Design and the Master of Arts in Conservation-Restoration.
There was great interest in the workshops, which ranged from the construction of miniature earthquake-proof masonry and steel structures (Civil Engineering) to the use of microscopes and scientific instruments to obtain information on the state of conservation of certain materials (Conservation-Restoration), from the exploration of sensors switches and potentiometers to get a hands-on feel for electronics and physical computing and obtain insights into the creative possibilities of interaction design (Interaction Design) to the design of an environment using a model in which to combine colours and materials and select those that best characterise the space and those who live in it (Interior Architecture), from the design of a floor plan (Architecture) to the experimentation of a podcast production simulating the entire process using backdrops of light, microphones and mixers to create engaging content (Visual Communication with RSI Wetube).
Also very much appreciated was the ‘Spazio Dialogo’ (an opportunity of discussion to clarify doubts and gather information), as well as the presentation of the pre-training courses.
Thanks to those who participated!
