The initiative, aimed at students enrolled in the Master of Science in Engineering (MSE), brought together participants not only from 精东影业 but also from several leading Swiss Universities of Applied Sciences in the technical and engineering fields:
Throughout the week, students had the opportunity to work in the Mini-Factory of the Sustainable Production Systems (SPS) Laboratory 鈥 an experimental environment that replicates real industrial processes on a small scale.
Using both the physical setup and its digital twin, participants were able to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge topics such as the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Artificial Vision (AI Vision), and Industry 4.0 paradigms, while also working with standards like IEC-61131-3 and IEC 61499.
The week proved to be a unique opportunity to build interdisciplinary skills. This immersive experience offered valuable training to strengthen cross-disciplinary competencies, foster collaboration among Swiss academic institutions, and actively engage with the technological challenges of the future industrial landscape.
