Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, many companies in Ticino were faced with crisis situations, but thanks to their entrepreneurial spirit and accelerated digital transformation, they were able to respond to this extraordinary situation according to their possibilities. In some cases, the responses were very creative and generated value not only for the companies themselves, but also for their customers, the partner network, the population, municipalities and institutions.
During the Mini-Hackathon, the focus was on trends relating to changes linked to digital transformation, such as the management of business models in crisis situations and the responses of companies since the beginning of the pandemic. After the theoretical introductory phase, participants were able to fully immerse themselves in the generation of possible ideas in response to concrete challenges - 'warm-up challenges'. In the concluding phase, the participating companies were then able to work with the MBA students on their business challenges, taking home useful insights and new ideas on how to best meet the challenges of digital transformation in their companies.
