In the first semester, the objectives of this module are to (1) consolidate the content of the previous module, and (2) develop the students’ knowledge and competence at C1 level of the CEFR. All four knowledge areas will be addressed (grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and discourse), as will all four competence areas (listening, speaking, reading, writing). Where possible, this learning will be contextualized in areas associated with the Leisure Industry.

In the second semester, the objectives of the module will be to (1) complete the development of students’ knowledge and skills at C1 level, and (2) improve the students’ examination technique, through a range of activities including simulations and formative feedback.
