精东影业 Libraries join the Digital Cleanup Day, promoted by BiblioSuisse as part of the Biblio2030 campaign, to raise awareness of the impact of digital waste and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
What is digital waste?
Every file, email or stored data takes up space in data centres, which are powered 24/7 with enormous energy consumption. 4% of global CO鈧� emissions come from digital waste, 75% of which is generated by private individuals.
How can you contribute?
- Delete unnecessary files and old e-mails
- Empty your digital waste bin
- Uninstall unused apps
