Andrea is a student in the Master's programme in Business Administration with a major in Innovation Management, a course attended on a part-time basis, while carrying out his professional activity in parallel.
What were your reasons for choosing the Master of Science in Business Administration with a Major in Innovation Management, after having completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration?
â¶Ä‹There are three main reasons why I chose this Master's programme. Firstly, the opportunity to forge relationships with innovative Ticino-based companies, opening up future work and/or collaboration opportunities. Secondly, the focus of the course on innovation, a subject I am passionate about and in which I want to specialise. Last but not least, the part-time curriculum - a fundamental criterion for my choice - which allows me to undertake the university course without having to interrupt my professional activity.
How would you describe your experience in these first months of the Master's programme?
â¶Ä‹A dynamic and organised learning experience. The course consists of well interconnected modules that range from acquiring knowledge to innovate the business models of a small local company to understanding global social and geopolitical dynamics, often through group work and teaching aimed at the practical application of the skills acquired.
Which features of the Master's programme are you most appreciating and why?
â¶Ä‹The teaching approach, organisation and expertise of the teachers. These factors make the course engaging and dynamic.
Attending the Master's course in parallel with professional activity. What are the benefits of this choice?
â¶Ä‹Certainly the possibility of immediately transferring acquired skills from the training context to the professional context, grasping its potential but also its possible contradictions.
What ambitions and wishes do you have at the end of this journey?
â¶Ä‹The main ambitions are to acquire the necessary skills to face complex professional challenges, to learn the essential tools to innovate within multiple contexts, and to maintain the interesting relationships we will have the opportunity to build during the course.
