The Biomedical Signal Processing research group leverages artificial intelligence to support an approach that follows evidence-based medicine by extracting clinically meaningful information from biological, subjective, and contextual data.
The team, led by Francesca Faraci, conducts several projects aimed at integrating AI Coaches, Virtual Coaches that help improve quality of life, increase adherence to therapy and optimize it, as well as offering constant monitoring through wearable devices as well.
The deep synergy established with academic institutions, companies (E.G. - UK, - NL, - IT), and clinical centers (E.G. , ), both nationally and internationally, makes it possible to combine highly specialized expertise and create significant growth opportunities in the constantly evolving field of medical technology.
