Duties and responsibilities

The candidate will conduct advanced research in computational molecular modeling, with a focus on the simulation of hy-perbranched polymers, nucleic acids and hydogels, and their mutual interactions.
The candidate will interact with experimental groups to set up and optimize the systems to be developed during the project.

Requirements

Essential

• The position is for researchers who obtained a PhD no more than 4 years ago.
• PhD focused on the application of computational methods on biological systems (proteins, cellular membranes, natural and synthetized compounds, nucleic acids, etc.) with a publication record in Molecular Dynamics area.
• Proficiency with algorithms and software in a) computational simulations at molecular level b) development of coarse-grained molecular models; c) use of advanced sampling methods
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to conduct independent research and collaborate effectively within a team.

Preferred

• Good knowledge in the use of machine learning applied to molecular models.
• Communication and collaboration skills.
• Good knowledge in written and spoken Italian.
