The is a non-profit organization that promotes the adoption of advanced, AI-driven decision-making processes within organizations. This year's conference will focus on the theme: Intelligent Systems and Decision Making: Human Insights in the Era of AI.
The session 鈥淎I for Smarter Production & Logistics鈥, moderated by Silvia Mari and Michela Manini, respectively Head and Senior Lecturer of Continuing Education at DTI, explores how artificial intelligence can enhance smarter, data-driven decision-making in production and logistics systems. Through the use of real-time data, predictive analytics, and adaptive algorithms, AI enables industries to optimize processes, reduce downtime, and improve supply chain responsiveness.
The session will include five scientific contributions that delve into advancements in AI-based decision support systems 鈥 ranging from process optimization and anomaly detection, to the presentation of new methodologies and practical frameworks.
In addition to academic insights, two industrial presentations will showcase real-world applications in which AI has been successfully integrated to address complex challenges in the manufacturing and logistics sectors, with a particular emphasis on the shift from reactive to proactive decision-making. These talks will highlight concrete implementations and lessons learned from deploying AI in innovative application models.
The contributions will offer a holistic perspective on the evolving role of artificial intelligence as a key enabler of operational efficiency and strategic agility in modern industries.
