In this module students will develop planning skills relating to the selection criteria when choosing and assessing methods and materials for conservation and restoration interventions.
By the end of the module, students will be able to: - understand methods and materials used in conservation and restoration; - understand the constraints imposed by clients, conservation institutions, financial and time considerations, and consider relevant regulations and laws when developing a conservation and restoration project; - document and communicate information derived from field work, the operations performed, and post-intervention monitoring and maintenance actions.
