This module aim to provide an understanding of basic references to tendering legislation and organization, and an intermediate proficiency regarding project scheduling and labor resources as well as, equipment and facilities financial planning.

At the end of the module, the students will be able to :
- identify the main types of tendering procedures;
- independently access resources about laws and regulations related to tenders;
- complete tendering documents related to an exemplary procedure from initial selection to full application;
- write an introductory letter to a tendering authority presenting a project and costs;
- analyze conservation demands to identify and list the required tasks and related constraints;
- conceive and communicate a schedule for conservation actions and other activities related to a conservation project using project management methods and software dedicated to project planning;
- define expenses according to direct or indirect costs;
- calculate the hourly rate of a conservator working either as a freelance professional or within a small company;
- analyze and calculate costs of various conservation actions and other activities within a conservation project.
