Course Text Info
This course serves as the culmination of the Master of Science ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ in Business Administration with a Major in Innovation Management, enabling students to integrate and apply key concepts explored throughout their academic journey. At the same time, it acts as a preparatory module for the international study tour in the final semester, providing a solid foundation for the global perspectives they will encounter. At its core, the course embraces a humanistic approach to management, placing people at the heart of organizations and examining how businesses can drive sustainability and societal impact. Students will explore how these principles can be embedded in companies, whether in the creation of new ventures or within organizational transformation processes. Concepts such as stakeholder management, responsible leadership, business competitiveness, and territorial innovation are deeply intertwined with the learning experience. Additionally, the course will highlight how organizations must balance innovation with sustainability to fulfill their responsibilities as key actors in their communities. A critical aspect of this module is mindset transformation. Students will be challenged to step out of their comfort zones, engage in open discussions, and develop the ability to view situations from diverse perspectives. They will sharpen their analytical and reflective skills, gaining the awareness needed to evaluate the long-term consequences of business decisions - not only from an economic standpoint but also in terms of social and environmental impact. Through interactive sessions, debates, and case studies, students will strengthen their ability to navigate complexity, foster meaningful change, and bring a human-centered vision to their professional roles - regardless of their function or position within an organization.
