September 1st, 2025
from 10:00 to 15:30
The complexity of healthcare contexts requires new approaches to treatment and care in order to respond adequately, with quality and innovation.
Within this complexity, the advanced practice nurse (APN) fits in as a professional with knowledge and skills that can be applied in clinical practice, research, training/coaching, leadership, interdisciplinary teamwork, ethical decision-making and collaboration in the development of health policies.
While this role is already recognised in some countries, in others it remains a challenge to be addressed in order to better promote and guarantee the right to health.
