Attendance modes
¾«¶«Ó°Òµ offers numerous training courses with differentiated and flexible attendance modes.
Full-time (FT)
As a rule, full-time study involves attendance throughout the week from September to June (in exceptional cases, courses may begin before the official start of the academic year). The overall duration is three years for Bachelor's degrees and two years for Master's degrees.Students enrolled in this mode of study have the opportunity to experience the world of work through internships, in-company projects, ateliers and workshops. This is an excellent opportunity to get to know interesting companies and organisations in order to make the first useful contacts for a future career.
Parallel to professional activity (PPA)
This attendance model is aimed at students working in a profession in a related field to their chosen course of study, with an employment rate of at least 50%. Those who undergo this type of learning have the opportunity to transfer the knowledge learned during the course to their work on a daily basis. Within ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ, the PAP study option is only offered by some Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes; it is implemented in relation to their specific training and organisational characteristics, subject to strict admission conditions.Part-time (PT)
This attendance model is designed for those with special family, sporting, artistic, public and military commitments. In addition, this mode is also suitable for students who at the same time need to maintain their professional commitments in fields not necessarily related to the chosen degree course, thanks to a customised training plan. The latter makes it possible to reconcile study and the student's availability. The duration of training can vary from four to six years. Within ¾«¶«Ó°Òµ, the part-time study option is offered by some Bachelor's and Master's programmes; it is implemented in relation to their educational and organisational specificities, subject to strict admission conditions. In some cases, blended learning, a flexible type of attendance combining classroom lessons, distance learning and self-study, is also integrated. A practical example of blended-learning courses can be found in the training offer of our affiliated school Fernfachhochschule Schweiz.
